Corporate responsibility, Italy

The staff in our Milan and Rome offices regularly contribute their time and energy to local corporate responsibility initiatives. We have set out a selection of the community projects that we have been involved in.

CBM Italia Onlus

We are proud of our partnership with CBM Italia Onlus!

In 2020 CBM Italia Onlus has not only managed to continue, not without difficulty, its activities in the prevention and treatment of blindness and disability in the countries of the South of the world, in particular in Africa, Asia and Latin America, but has also faced the emergency situation from COVID-19, also in Italy.

In particular, CBM Italia Onlus intervened alongside the most vulnerable and promoted the social inclusion of people with disabilities in 3 areas of intervention:

  • Support for the COVID Emergency Centers of Bergamo and Rozzano;
  • romotion of an inclusive culture through various projects, allowing many children and young people to train and cultivate empathy, awareness and openness, fundamental skills to promote an inclusive approach;
  • Implementation of rehabilitation programs for children suffering from CHARGE syndrome, a rare genetic disease and one of the main causes of “congenital” deafblindness.

For all these very important objectives, and many others, we are happy to have collaborated in the activities of CBM Italia and to support all its projects for the prevention and treatment of blindness and for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
