Senior Associate (m/f/d) Corporate

Our growing corporate department has built its reputation on a strong practice in corporate M&A and restructuring, investment management, fintechs and tax planning aspects of international holding and financing structures.

Our corporate team advises national and international companies, financial institutions, private equity funds and their portfolio companies on corporate acquisitions, joint ventures, complex restructurings and financing/refinancing transactions.

As a result of the continuous increase in our activities, our corporate team is looking for an Senior associate (m/f/d) with a strong international focus and some initial professional experience to join our Luxembourg corporate team.

Skills and Experience:

  • You have successfully passed your bar admissions in Luxembourg or you are eligible to be registered on List IV of the Luxembourg Bar.
  • You have at least five years of professional experience gained in the corporate team of a top tier law firm or similar environment in Luxembourg.
  • You have full command of English and French. Language skills in German and/or Luxembourgish will be considered a strong asset.
  • You are a team player, organised, flexible, proactive and ambitious.

Your Mission:

  • You will work on a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, reorganisations, cross-border mergers, demergers, equity/debt restructurings and financing/refinancing transactions for national and international clients.
  • You will also work on general corporate governance matters.
  • You will work closely with the other practices of the firm and with the international offices.
  • You will be in contact with clients and their advisors.
  • You will supervise and coach the more junior member of the team.

Associate (m/f/d) Investment Funds

Our young and dynamic investment funds team is made up of experienced and multilingual lawyers with extensive knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment advising on the structuring, setting-up and organization of regulated and non-regulated investment vehicles.

As a result of the continuous increase in our activities, our funds team is looking for an Associate (m/f/d) with a strong international focus and some initial professional experience to join our Luxembourg funds team.

Skills and Experience:

  • You hold a University degree in business law (first state exam in Germany, Master 2 from Belgium, Luxembourg or France), ideally completed by an LLM.
  • You have successfully passed your bar admissions in Luxembourg or you are eligible to be registered on List IV of the Luxembourg Bar.
  • You have some professional experience, ideally one to five years, gained in an international law firm or similar environment in Luxembourg within the fields of investment funds, asset managers.
  • You have full command of English. A working command of French will be considered a strong asset.
  • You are a team player and will be able to work cross-office and with colleagues in different jurisdictions. You are a good communicator and attach great importance to a collegial working environment.

Your mission:

  • You will work on establishing funds, investment vehicles and asset management entities for national and international clients.
  • You will advise on compliance policies and procedures, and reviewing and negotiating investments.

Skills and Experience:

  • You have a least a four year university degree in law, economics, accounting or finance, ideally with a tax specialisation.
  • You have between one to five years of experience in tax in a law firm, accounting firm or a financial services company in Luxembourg.
  • You have professional proficiency in English and French. German, Luxembourgish, Spanish or any other language will be considered an asset.

Legal Secretary (m/f/d)

We are looking to hire a polyvalent billing and secretarial assistant (m/f/d). We are recruiting a full time position (40 hours) starting as soon as possible. Our legal secretaries are responsible for a wide and varied range of tasks to support our business.

Skills and Experience:

  • You have some professional experience as a billing assistant or legal secretary, ideally in a law firm
  • A working command of English and French is essential as we work in an international environment; command of other languages would be an asset
  • You are a team player with good communication skills. You are also autonomous, dynamic and pay high attention to detail
  • You have intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications

Your Mission:

Billing:

  • Creating, monitoring and closing new client and supplier files
  • Preparing and issuing invoices
  • Registering supplier invoices and monitoring their payment
  • Assisting with debt collection and handling disbursements
  • Monitoring outstanding bills
  • Managing deadlines and internal procedures
  • Implementing the specific billing protocols for each client
  • Coordinating with the finance and accounting teams located in Paris & Leeds (UK)
  • Communicating the billing information to the legal teams

Administration:

  • Formatting and e-filling of documents
  • Writing and answering correspondence
  • Organising meetings (virtual and in-person) and travel
  • Dealing with and screening incoming calls
  • Handling expenses for the lawyers

Reception:

  • Welcoming clients at the reception and ensuring their comfort
  • Receiving mail and deliveries and ensuring their distribution at the office
