Eversheds Sutherland in Luxembourg

Our Luxembourg office focuses on investment funds and corporate clients. We advise domestic and international clients (including fund managers and service providers) on the structuring, setting-up and organisation of all types of alternative investment funds, UCITS funds and corporate entities. We also advise on regulatory issues relating to investment funds and portfolio managers as well as corporate transactions and M&A in Luxembourg.

Recent developments in Luxembourg, including the introduction of the special limited partnership (société en commandite spéciale), the reserved alternative investment fund (RAIF) and the modernisation of Luxembourg corporate law have contributed to maintaining Luxembourg’s position as the leading European jurisdiction for investment funds.

Opening in Luxembourg marks a key milestone in the rollout of our global funds strategy. Luxembourg is part of our strategy to expand our global footprint in key, strategic jurisdictions and to be present in every major financial centre in the world given the strength of our international funds team, and Luxembourg’s key role in the global and European investment funds, private equity and real estate sectors.
