The Banking & Finance practice is serviced by an integrated, multidisciplinary team that advises corporates and financial institutions on a broad range of finance transactions and financial services regulatory matters.

Finance transactions

We frequently advise corporates and lenders on all aspects of the design, negotiation and documentation of finance transactions, including:

  • general debt financing solutions
  • leveraged/acquisition finance
  • project finance
  • asset finance
  • real estate finance
  • intra-group financings

We offer our clients a single point of contact for these transactions, but also for any related issues such as intra-group reorganisations, fiduciary duties of boards, insolvency/restructuring advice and managing internal or external stakeholders.

Given our global footprint, we often advise in international/cross-border situations. We are hands on and have access to an extensive international network.

Financial services regulatory

We advise financial institutions and companies on a wide range of regulatory issues regarding, among other things:

  • funds and asset management
  • payments
  • fintech (crypto and blockchain)
  • consumer credit
  • alternative finance (crowdfunding, credit unions)
We assist our clients with licensing, registration and exemptions, governance, financial product launches, setting up structures, reviewing and drafting documentation and ongoing regulatory requirements (compliance). We also advise our clients on (the regulatory aspects of) commercial agreements and on (cross-border) transactions and cooperations. We work effectively as national, international, and multi-disciplinary teams.
