Entertainment, Media and IT

The Entertainment and IT Law Department is widely recognised in international legal directories. It advises audiovisual and music producers, information technology companies, telecommunications operators and, in general, companies that work in the entertainment industry. Advice provided covers all matters relating to the production and exploitation of protected contents, from the preparation, drafting and negotiation of contracts to litigation.

Our entertainment team has international experience and vast knowledge of EU law and international treaties, which is essential in a globalised world and a digital environment in which attention to such matters is vital to achieve the effective protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights.

Our services:

  • Advice and representation in court proceedings (civil, criminal, administrative and contentious administrative proceedings) concerning all types of intellectual property, including copyright and the like
  • Contracting of contents: publishing contracts, production of phonograms, audiovisual production, assignment of formats and acquisition of contents, rights assignment and licence agreements
  • Advice in relation to the licences of intellectual property collective management entities
  • Advice in relation to defamation, privacy and publicity rights
