Legal Compass: Obligation to carry out a Salary Equality Analysis

    Following the expiry of the referendum period for the revision of the Gender Equality Act (GEA) and no request for referendum having been made, the obligation to conduct an internal salary equality analysis for companies with at least 100 employees will enter into force on 1 July 2020. The amendment to the law shall effectifely implement the constitutional right to equal pay. This article intends to provide an overview of the newly introduced obligation to carry out an internal analysis of pay equality.
