    Eversheds Sutherland Switzerland is pleased to announce that Ludovic Duarte (l), Cyril Troyanov (m) and Dr. Michael Mosimann (r) have joined our firm as partners on January 1st. A warm welcome to them!


    Ludovic Duarte

    As a Certified Specialist SBA in Inheritance Law, Ludovic Duarte advises and assists Swiss and foreign private clients, families, entrepreneurs and family offices in wealth and estate planning as well as in all national and international matrimonial and inheritance law matters. His practice includes estate planning and structuring, including the judicial or extrajudicial enforcement of inheritance claims and the execution of wills. He also assists companies in their succession planning and implementation. In the financial institutions sector group, Ludovic Duarte is a privileged contact for Swiss and foreign banks, asset managers and financial intermediaries. In the area of banking and financial market law, he advises financial institutions on regulatory and contractual issues, in the context of enforcement proceedings and internal investigations, and on all issues related to anti-money laundering regulations.     Cyril Troyanov

    Cyril Troyanov has a wide experience in advising international high net-worth individuals, assisting them in the development and management of their corporate and personal projects, including immigration, acquisitions, real estate, family asset structuring and estate planning. In the frame of his activities, Cyril cooperates on a regular basis with legal advisors, tax experts and consultants throughout the world to find and implement the best solution adapted to his clients' needs.     Dr. Michael Mosimann

    Michael has extensive experience in accompanying national and international investors in venture capital financing and private M&A transactions. Since he also frequently advises startups and their founders, he knows both sides of the investment process and conducts it in an efficient manner. He supports his clients throughout the entire investment process and during the holding period, at the exit and beyond. He is particularly interested in socially responsible investments (SRI) and in particular impact investments, on which he wrote his doctoral thesis. In addition, he is an expert in regulatory and corporate legal matters pertaining to block-chain. He advises founders of cryptocurrency companies in all legal matters and helps them to plan, prepare and execute their private and public token offering (so-called Initial Coin Offering or ICO).
