Apply for a legal training contract or Vacation Scheme place today
We’re always looking for new talent and look forward to hearing from you. You can apply either for a training contract or a place on our Summer Vacation Scheme. The application process covers the same ground whether you apply and complete the Vacation Scheme or apply directly and complete a one day assessment for a training contract.
Whichever you apply for, you can only make one application per academic year and all applications must be submitted online.
As an accredited Disability Confident employer and member of the Valuable 500, we are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to all. Disability inclusion is an integral part of our diversity & inclusion strategy, and supports our people strategy goal to attract, retain and maximise the potential of the best, diverse talent for the future. If you have a disability or long-term condition and need us to make any adjustments or do anything differently during the recruitment process, to remove or reduce the effect or impact of your disability or long-term condition, please let us know by emailing gradrec@eversheds-sutherland.com and include ‘Recruitment process adjustments’ in the title of your email. Alternatively, please call Catherine Knight, Emerging Talent Manager, on 07825 099211.
Our application process will involve elements of the following:
- video interview
- assessment centre including an interview
- individual role play exercise and written exercise using a computer.
Adjustments will be made on a case-by-case basis. We will consider all requests and aim to support where possible. Some examples could include:
- Providing extra time in assessments and interviews;
- Providing communication support such as a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter during the interview;
- Holding the interview/assessment in an accessible building;
