Eversheds Unlocked

Eversheds Sutherland Unlocked for students

You, a lawyer? Why not?
With the help of Eversheds Sutherland Unlocked, it really can happen.

Is it for you?

The scheme was developed out of our involvement with "Pathways to Law", a joint initiative with the Sutton Trust and the University of Law. It is aimed at state school students in their first year of A-Levels, with mainly GCSE A or B grades, little or no family history of higher education and a genuine interest in law - and lots of enthusiasm.

You see, we're passionate about opening up legal careers to the best and brightest young minds - especially students, like you, who may not share the typical background of most legal professionals.

You attend a state school, for example. You may be the very first person in your family destined to go to university. You could come from a disadvantaged community.

Is some of that true of you?

Then you could be a perfect match for Eversheds Sutherland Unlocked.

This unique event gives you the opportunity to spend three days at an Eversheds Sutherland office. You will work with real lawyers, learn what a law career involves and get lots of advice and guidance on how to start your own journey into law. We'll help you to set goals. We'll support you to successfully apply to a university. We'll tell you about the different routes into a law firm like ours. We'll even give you one-to-one coaching sessions and help you develop your communication skills.

It's informative. It's interesting. It's useful. And, as you will see in the video on this page, it's fun. So why not get some brilliant work experience and explore what a law career looks like from the inside out? All you need to do is apply.
