We have extensive experience in relation to the food sector, having acted for FTSE 100 clients in a range of criminal investigations and prosecutions brought by the regulators, including local authorities and the Food Standards Agency.

Our advice has covered food poisoning outbreaks, contamination of food by foreign objects, deliberate sabotage, rodent and other infestations, unsafe and substandard food, unhygienic premises and emergency measures such as premises closures, date coding and underage sales.

We have also advised clients on multi-jurisdiction compliance issues, including labelling and composition and comparative enforcement.
