Health and safety law
Our lawyers are experienced in health and safety law
Our team is ranked in band one in the legal directories and is trusted by many of the world’s top companies including Rolls Royce, GSK, Centrica and Siemens. We have an international team of Health and Safety lawyers and can provide the security of a complete corporate defence – whatever the circumstances.
When a health and safety crisis occurs, we are there to protect your business and reputation, offering you round-the-clock support and guidance whenever and wherever you need it. We can work quickly with you to bring any emergency you face under control so that you can get back to business as soon as possible.
Health and safety lawyers experienced in regulatory investigations
We have considerable experience in advising clients across all sectors in relation to criminal investigations and prosecutions brought by regulators - including the Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities and the police – following serious and fatal workplace accidents.
We have advised FTSE 100 clients on all manner of health and safety issues ranging from asbestos, electrocution, driving for work, falls from height, railway incidents, fire safety, transportation of nuclear material, offshore and maritime investigations through to multiple corporate manslaughter cases.
Generally, we act for the regulated rather than the regulator, whilst understanding the approach and philosophy of the regulators through our frequent dealings.
We can provide you with robust crisis management support from the outset of an incident. We are experienced in advising on how to challenge improvement notices and prohibition notices through to dealing with the pressures on an ongoing regulatory investigation / prosecution, including at a Coroner’s Court Inquest, the interview under caution stage and at the Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court.
