With over 30 years' experience with investment funds, we have been involved in all the major developments within this field over that period. We act for more asset managers than any other UK firm which means we constantly have market intelligence of the issues affecting the industry. We are known for being at the cutting edge of regulatory development and for our ability to influence the development of new products. For example, in 2008 we were heavily involved with HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs with property authorised investment funds (PAIFs) working with them on both the regulations and guidance, and re-engaging with them under the auspices of the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) to resolve a number of implementation issues. We were then heavily involved in the launch of the first PAIF and the majority of the subsequent launches.

We have one of the strongest experienced fund practices of any City firm, serving retail funds, hedge funds and closed-end funds and boasting real estate funds and funds tax advisors.

Our International Funds Net team bolsters our global offering and provides a comprehensive and cost-effective passporting and registration service in key jurisdictions.

Our team is substantial enough to include experience in related disciplines such as derivatives, insurance, pensions and tax. Beyond this, we are able to draw upon Eversheds Sutherland' wider pool of talent including funds real estate and financial services outsourcing lawyers.
