Trade finance - Jordan
Eversheds Sutherland Jordan office has dedicated trade finance lawyers who provide advice to banks, financial institutions, traders, brokers, ship owners, insurers, producers and industrial end users on all aspects of the financing of trade in hard and soft commodities.
Given our involvement in all aspects of the physical and financial supply chain we are well placed to provide a holistic view of the trade finance issues you face. We have a strong culture of project management and costs transparency and have developed budgeting tools to help clients manage their legal expenditure.
Quality and experience in trade finance
The financing of physical trade is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and commodities from the Middle East to the rest of the world. However, the complexity of the financial (as well as the contractual and regulatory) landscape can create pitfalls for the unwary.
Our trade finance team delivers quality in all areas and includes industry lawyers such as the former Head of Trade Finance at a leading global investment bank, a full member of the Academy of Experts on Banking and Structured Trade Finance and the former general counsel of a Middle East oil company.
We offer local knowledge from our office in Amman, crucial contacts and a thorough understanding of working in politically sensitive countries and emerging markets. Many of our trade finance lawyers have worked in-house and understand the issues you face. We listen to what you want and then deliver a tailored service that meets your objectives.
