New VAT taxation rules for electronic services rendered by a foreign organisation to Russian organisations and/or sole proprietors (B2B operations) will enter into force on 1 January 2019 in accordance with Federal Law No. 335-FZ (the “Law”).
The Law substantially changes the landscape of taxation on transactions in the field of the digital economy and intensifies the administrative burden on intra-group transactions. Within the framework of a business breakfast, we plan to discuss not only the primary legislative amendments, unregulated issues and their consequences for business, but also to talk about the practical steps and business models that we believe will help to minimise tax risks during the period of uncertainty and to be definitively prepared for the new rules.
