Our corporate and social responsibility partnerships

Our CSR Partnerships

We have entered into three year partnerships with the following charity partners, which align with our unlocked themes of education, homelessness and the environment. The partnerships will be completely funded through the Eversheds Business Lawyers Charitable Trust (EBLCT). We have a proven track record of making a difference to the communities in which we live and work and these new partnerships offer us the opportunity to increase our impact, showcase innovation, and develop our capabilities.

We have chosen WaterAid as a charity that we will support across Eversheds Sutherland on a firmwide, international basis. WaterAid is an international charity that exists to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

Enabling Enterprise

Enabling Enterprise is an award winning not-for-profit social enterprise. Its mission is to equip young people with the skills, experience and aspirations they need to succeed in life. In 2015 they reached more than 40,000 students across the UK, and are developing an international focus. We already support this charity across many of our offices with the provision of office facilities for events and colleague support and participation.

80,000 young people experience homelessness in the UK every year. EndYouthHomelessness wants not only to get these young people off the streets but also into accommodation, education and training, and employment. The charity is an umbrella for a group of charities and businesses which have joined forces to raise awareness, gather support, and seek opportunities for homeless young people to get their lives on the right track.

The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust works around the world preserving wetlands for people and wildlife. In the UK their nationwide network of nine specialist visitor centres give one million people each year the opportunity to get close to nature and become actively involved in conservation. The charity also plays a leading role in the UK in providing formal outdoor learning sessions, particularly for primary school children from the most socially deprived areas. Our partnership will offer the opportunity for colleagues and their families to engage with many of the programmes and activities.
