Ja’far is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Management Practice Group in Eversheds Sutherland’s Amman office.

He represents multijurisdictional corporations in high stake commercial and business disputes. He is directly involved in a wide range of cases, including employment law, property law, medical negligence, monetary claims, law of tort, intellectual property, company dispute, commercial agency contracts, IP, construction and criminal complaints; theft, blackmail, mistrust, and cybercrimes. He has also worked on local and international contentious and non-contentious arbitration cases.

Ja’far’s recent experience includes:

(i) conducting a comprehensive holistic research on the laws related to the licensing procedures of 69 business sector;

(ii) advising a renowned international airline company on a number of criminal and

(iii) corporate violations acts; and assisting local and international clients in regards to registering companies and charitable societies under the Jordanian Laws.

His previous experience in the Corporate Commercial Practice Group involved participation in several major acquisitions, negotiating, drafting and reviewing a number of English and Arabic documents in cross-border transactions, preparing legal memos and advices on local regulatory practices, drafting various types of agreements including, lease agreements, joint ventures, partnership agreements, agency agreements, supply agreements, licensing agreements, consultancy agreement, services agreements, employment agreements, and purchase agreements.

Ja’far is admitted to the Jordanian Bar, and obtained both his LLB and LLM from the University of Liverpool. During his studies, he was the President of the University of Liverpool Arab Society, a Student Ambassador, and a Student Advisor at Liverpool Law Clinic where he provided pro bono work to the local community.
