Rafael is a Partner in the Eversheds Real Estate Department. Specializing in real estate investment/disinvestment operations, sale and leaseback transactions, real estate project finance, the hotel industry, and cadastre and planning issues, he works mainly for institutional and private investors. He also has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases regarding shopping centres and high street units.

He has a Degree in Law by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). Rafael is a member of the Madrid Bar since 2000 and a lecturer at the Programa Superior de Direccion de Empresas Inmobiliarias at Instituto de Empresa (Madrid) and at Programa Master de Derecho Empresarial (Derecho Inmobiliario de Empresas) at Centro Estudios Garrigues (Madrid).

Since 2006 Rafael Arráez has been ranked in Chambers & Partners (Real Estate).
