Alvin is an Associate in our Commercial practice group and has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements including outsourcing agreements, supply agreements and technology related agreements. Alvin also had experience in reviewing and drafting consumer facing contracts and advising on consumer laws in the UK. Alvin works closely with clients on all aspects of these areas across a variety of sectors including TMT, FMCG, Retail, and Real Estate.

Alvin had extensive in-house paralegal experience in commercial which enables him to understand the clients’ objectives and provide clear and easy to understand advice.

Alvin’s recent experience includes:

• Preparing draft SaaS addendums for a multi-million pounds global fitness apparel and accessories brand
• Advising and marking up a SaaS whitelabel agreement for a community interest company which provides a local network of healthcare workforce for care seekers
• Reviewing and advising on IT service agreement in relation to VPN and web security for one of the largest integrated veterinary services provider in the UK
• Advising and drafting a bespoke volumetric video system agreement to enable a tech start-up client to use machine learning to capture and live-stream broadcast contents on social or gaming platforms
• Advising and drafting an online portal terms of use for a logistic and fulfilment company
• Preparing consumer facing website terms of use, Wi-Fi access terms of use and ticket booking services terms for several train operating companies
• Reviewing and negotiating a research support agreement (including advice on intellectual property) for a health research programme
• Advising Hammerson on various contractual arrangements including an advertising agreement at Grand Central Birmingham, car park management agreements, sponsorship agreements and other supply and maintenance agreements using client focused style
• Advising Capital & Regional on several framework agreements and services agreements in relation to digital advertisement in different centres across the UK
• Preparing the commercial contracts, including the sales and marketing agreement and professional and administration services agreement, in connection with the roll-out of retirement villages for a joint venture

Alvin also supports clients through M&A and corporate support work, providing commercial, IT and intellectual property advice and assistance in due diligence exercises.
