Hizir Aydogdu is an associate in our Real Estate practice group in Dusseldorf.

His expertise comprises all aspects of real estate law, in particular the provision of advice on transactions and project developments as well as the legal support in the context of building projects and advice to local councils. Hizir inter alia specialises in public construction law. In addition, he advises national and international companies with regard to commercial lease agreements as well as on general real estate law.

Hizir studied law the University of Bonn. He took his first state examination in the year 2015 at Cologne Higher Regional Court and his second state examination in the year 2017 at Dusseldorf Higher Regional Court. During his legal traineeship, he worked for international big law firms in the field of Real Estate law.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland in August 2018, he worked as a desk officer for a German Federal Authority in Bonn.

Hizir’s recent experience includes:

  • Advice to Archer Daniels Midland Company on the acquisition of Ziegler Group
  • Advice to Ricoh on the acquisition of DocuWare, a leading provider of content services software, with headquarters in Germany and the USA
  • Advice to LIP Invest on the acquisition of a logistics property in Nettetal with an usable floor area of 31,800.00 sqm
  • Advice to a US-company on the acquisition of real estate in Germany
  • Representation of local councils in judicial review proceedings (Normenkontrollverfahren) and disputes under administrative law in connection with retail projects
  • Advice to LIP Invest on the acquisition of a new logisitcs property for Coca-Cola in Northern Germany
