Olivier is a Partner in the Project Development and Finance team of Eversheds Sutherland in Paris.
Olivier has twelve years’ experience in development, structuring and negotiation of infrastructure project financing, mainly in France and Africa, where he daily works with developers, industrial players, investors, commercial lenders and development banks, particularly in the fields of energy, mining, road and rail transport. He has also a solid experience in public economic law, construction law, energy law and mining law.
Olivier has a particularly deep experience of the development and the financing of projects carried-out in Africa, in many key sectors like the energy sector (wind, hydroelectricity, PV, electrical interconnection, national grids, corporate PPA, etc.) and the mining sector.
His experience and excellent sector knowledge are frequently stressed by his clients and the specialised press.
Olivier has been designated « Rising Star » by IFLR 2022-2023 and « Key Lawyers » by Legal 500 EMEA 2021. Olivier has also been appointed as « Best Lawyers – Ones to watch » 2023 in the categories construction law and energy law.
Olivier has also been a lecturer at the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne / School of Law of the Sorbonne with several promotions of the Master 1 Public Business Law and regularly joined as speaker conferences relating to the infrastructure projects.
Olivier holds a Master 2 degree in Public Economic Law from University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, a Master 1 degree in Public Law from University Paris-Sud and is graduated from University Paris 12 in European Law.
