Rachel is a Principal Associate in our human resources practice group experienced in employment law and qualified in 2003. Rachel's experience includes advising clients on their gender pay gap reporting obligations and dealing with the changing nature of the workforce, including engagement with atypical workers and employment status issues. Rachel also advises on key business projects, such as complex collective consultation processes and the closure of employer defined benefit pension schemes.

Rachel also has extensive experience of complex Employment Tribunal claims, some involving significant allegations of discrimination made against multiple Respondents. She has advised on matters in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal.

Rachel participated in Law Without Walls 2016, a unique global legal project led by Eversheds and the University of Miami, acting as a team mentor for international legal students. Rachel worked closely with the team alongside mentors from the academic and business worlds to develop a specific project, using law and innovation themes, to create a detailed viable business proposal which was presented to a distinguished panel of legal and business judges.

Rachel has drafted bespoke employment contractual documentation and a wide range of policies. Rachel has represented clients at judicial and private mediations. Rachel also regularly delivers training to clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including whistleblowing and Complex Employment Disputes.

Rachel advises a range of clients, with particular experience in the transport utilities and life sciences sectors. Rachel has experience in developing and managing large client service teams with bespoke protocols.
