Lauma Bērziņa is an Attorney at Law at Eversheds’ Riga office, heading the Corporate and Commercial practice group.  She has more than 20 years of legal experience in banking and finance, in commercial and company law, restructuring, banking and finance and civil and administrative litigation.

Lauma is well-known for her M&A and corporate restructuring, reorganization and asset deal work as well for her advice in corporate and commercial sector deals involving such industries renewable energy, agriculture, wood processing, prodution of food, financial services and many more sectors of the economy.  She has been involved in large, complex and challenging M&A projects and restructuring projects in the country advising sellers and buyers, both foreign and domestic.

Lauma is a member of the Latvian Bar Association.

She holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Latvia.  In 2007, she obtained a MBA degree from Riga Technical University (Latvia) and Buskerud University College (Norway).
