Balraj is a Partner and our National Head of Residential Sales and Investment. He specialises in residential property and has extensive experience of estate management structuring, development, investment, sales and finance of mixed use and residential schemes.
Balraj has particular expertise in enfranchisement, rights of first refusal and residential tenancies as well as vast experience of high-value residential property transactions, predominantly in the Central London area.
His wide range of clients include real estate investors, developers, uber high net worth individuals, family offices, banks and institutions. He provides diligent and commercially sound advice with a strong emphasis on progressing deals efficiently and quickly.
Balraj has acted on numerous high level transactions including:
- advising a developer in relation to estate management structuring for a mixed use development scheme with over 1500 homes and a value of £1 billion;
- advising an institutional funder in relation to rights of first refusal and enfranchisement structuring and bulk unit sales with sub-sales for a development scheme with a value of £520 million;
- acting for various uber high net worth individuals and family offices for the acquisition, disposals and financing of apartments and houses in prime London locations including the One Hyde Park development and Crown Estate properties with values in excess of £100 million;
- securing 90 year statutory lease extensions to, and acquiring or disposing numerous leasehold properties on the prestigious Grosvenor, Berkeley Square, Cadogan and Wellcome Trust Estates by way of enfranchisement;
Balraj is currently working with a developer on a prime London development of 90+ luxury apartments with a value of £900 million and manages two landed prime London estates.
