Prisca is an Attorney-at-Law within the litigation team in Mauritius. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London and successfully completed the Vocational Examinations of Mauritius for attorneys in 2019.
During her pupillage, she gained a range of valuable experience both in litigation and advisory work, including civil and contentious commercial actions, company law matters, insolvency, corporate advisory, family law and judicial reviews.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Prisca worked as a paralegal, where her role involved the preparation of court files, undertaking empirical legal research for the preparation of written submissions and attending courts, tribunals and committees.
She also worked with a Notary Public, where her tasks included conducting client interviews and preparing legal advice, the drafting of notarial deeds (deeds of immovable property sales, wills, rules of partnerships and constitution of private companies, deeds under private signatures, power of attorneys), conducting searches at the Registrar of Companies and the Registrar General/Conservator of Mortgages, registration and taxation of notarial deeds.
