Practice notes

Miriam is a senior associate in our international infrastructure group. She specialises in energy projects (worldwide) with a particular focus on clean energy.

Her recent experience includes:

  • advising Gresham House Fund on its acquisition of multiple battery energy storage projects in the UK totalling an installed operational capacity of over 400MW, including drafting and negotiating the construction contracts for those projects;
  • advising a Canadian fund on an innovative framework agreement for the procurement of batteries;
  • advising a US-based, leading sustainable infrastructure fund on its acquisition of four gas-peaker plants in the UK, including drafting and negotiating the full suite of construction contracts (on a multi-contract procurement structure); and
  • advising the UK division of a leading European energy group on the construction of a CCGT plant at its multi-technology, energy park Northern Ireland, including advice pre-tender and during the tender stages, and drafting and negotiating the full suite of construction contracts (on a multi-contract procurement structure).
