Fiona is a Principal Associate in our real estate team.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of Real Estate transactions, including occupational tenancies (agreements for lease/ lease/ licences/ tenancy at will), property development, acquisition and disposals of a range of commercial properties including development and investment properties. She has acted for many household names, national and multinational businesses, including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 businesses.
Fiona’s recent work includes acting on a number of significant multi-million pound strategic and complex land acquisitions/transactions relating to land and expansion around a head office location for a global car manufacturer; acting for a leading UK healthcare developer on portfolio management investment acquisitions and a number of acquisition and leaseback transactions of medical centres across the UK; acting for a government agency on land disposals (most recently dealing with a £45 million disposal to two Luxembourg SARLs including complex title and environmental issues, overage and drainage works obligations secured via escrow arrangements) and acquisitions of brownfield sites for starter homes development, together with commercial site disposals; and acting for a City Council in connection with the development of a new transport hub involving various funding and phase agreements with the relevant stakeholders, a collaboration agreement with the Council's delivery partner, land swaps and option agreements and other bespoke documents to deal with historical clawback arrangements and contribution agreements.
