Practice notes

Brandon is a Senior Associate in our Asia corporate team with particular focus on Korean clients and business. Prior to joining our international M&A team in Hong Kong, Brandon practised in Seoul for more than 8 years with leading Korean firm Kim & Chang. During that time Brandon also spent 3 months on secondment in Istanbul for a Korean chaebol client.

Brandon has considerable experience in cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions supporting Korean conglomerates and chaebols, asset managers and investors on their outbound investments in Asia and globally. He has also supported many multinational clients on their inbound M&A and joint venture projects in Korea as well as other corporate and regulatory matters including merger clearance and other local regulatory approvals. Brandon also has experience advising clients on fair trade, renewable energy investments and compliance matters.

Brandon acts as our “Korea desk” covering Asia and beyond, and generally handles Korea-facing matters and Korean clients whenever needed.

Brandon is admitted to the New York Bar and is fluent in English and Korean.
