Practice notes
Rachel is Eversheds Sutherland’s first Service Excellence Partner, with responsibility for client service excellence across its International practice.
The role of Service Excellence Partner is one that takes a holistic approach to client service. Rachel’s role encompasses leading the client technology and innovation team and driving the firm’s innovation agenda, combined with overall responsibility for the firm’s strategy on legal project management, service delivery and knowledge in the client context.
Rachel has long combined front line transactional work with a passion for innovative client service solutions, often with a technology angle. Prior to becoming Service Excellence Partner, Rachel was instrumental in developing a number of Eversheds Sutherland’s client technology and service excellence offerings including (i) Dealmaster - the firm’s flagship, award winning M&A project management tool; (ii) the firm’s cross-practice AI group which drives the application of AI in the delivery of legal services; (iii) establishing the legal project management team for the corporate and commercial practice group and (iv) the deployment of electronic signatures in the firm’s corporate team, being one of the first UK law firms to do so, resulting in the firm being recognised in the FT Innovative Lawyer Awards 2017
With a strong track record in cross-border M&A transactions and forging major client relationships, Rachel continues to fulfil the role of Client Partner or Deputy Client Partner for a number of the firm’s key clients.
