He practises across a range of financial services litigation and financial crime advisory matters.
Rory has commercial litigation experience in High Court proceedings, typically acting for banks and other financial services institutions. He often advises on various forms of interim relief encountered by banks including freezing orders, third party debt orders and disclosure orders.
Rory also advises firms on financial crime compliance, including in relation to the UK’s anti-money laundering regime. He recently assisted a Skilled Person (appointed to the FCA’s section 166 Skilled Person Panel) reviewing the anti-money laundering systems and controls of an e-payments firm.
He previously spent a period on secondment at a multinational bank, sitting within its retail banking legal department.
