Practice notes

Rhoda is an associate in our Company Commercial practice group, specialising in data protection and privacy law. She has experience in many aspects of data protection such as GDPR compliance, e-privacy and Brexit considerations. Her work includes assisting clients with the development of supporting documents, such as privacy notices and policies, contractual drafting for commercial data sharing/ processing arrangements and data protection due diligence in relation to mergers and acquisitions. She also has experience in assisting with identifying data protection risks associated with new products coming to market and assisting with providing advice on complex controller/ processor arrangements.

Her recent experience includes: working on a number of large GDPR compliance projects for key clients of the firm. Providing advice on the legality of prospective data products and project managing this across multi-jurisdictions. She has also assisted in the data protection review of AI contracts for the firm. Rhoda works across a number of sectors from Consumer and TMT to Health and Life Sciences and Energy and Infrastructure.

Prior to receiving her legal training, Rhoda worked in a finance position within the media industry where she dealt with artist royalties, and assisted in the creation of a rights exploitation database.
