Caitlin is an Associate at Eversheds Sutherland (KZN) Inc. in our Estates and Fiduciary Services department.

She obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria and commenced serving her practical vocational training at Eversheds Sutherland (KZN) Inc. in 2020.

Caitlin gained experience during her practical vocational training in various departments, namely Estates and Fiduciary, Conveyancing, and Corporate and Commercial.

She deals with the winding up of deceased estates, from the preparation of reporting documents to the preparation of the liquidation and distribution account and the finalisation of the estate. She also deals with the drafting of wills and the registration, amendment, management and deregistration of various types of trusts.

Representative experience

  • Servicing a range of clients since 2020, including large corporate entities and multi-listed companies such as RCL FOODS Limited.
  • Was a part of the team that assisted RCL FOODS Limited with the formation of the Livekindly Collective Africa, a joint venture based in South Africa between RCL FOODS and US-based The Livekindly Company Inc. The joint venture involves the marketing, sale and distribution of plant-based alternative food products in South Africa and the rest of sub-Saharan Africa.
