Celine is an Associate on the Financial Services team, advising in derivatives.
She advises a range of clients, including banks, asset managers, insurance companies and buy-side entities.
Celine has broad experience in trading and clearing agreement for derivative products, stock lending and repos. She also provides advice on the associated regulations, including the implementation of the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). Her recent experience includes advising clients in relation to the cessation of the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) and cryptoassets regulation.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherlands, Celine completed a joint degree in English and French law at Sheffield Hallam University and Paris XII University, before completing a master’s degree in international business law at La Sorbonne and a Legal Practice Course at BPP University. She spent five years at a leading interdealer broker where she trained.
Celine qualified as a Solicitor in April 2020.
