A corporate senior associate, Lauren Chamberlain advises clients on their complex cross-border public and private matters across a variety of sectors.

Lauren has worked in Sydney, Hong Kong, London and Birmingham advising clients on sales, acquisitions, reorganisations, joint ventures and corporate governance issues across multiple jurisdictions and in sectors including retail, financial services, education, oil & gas and healthcare.

Lauren helps companies, boards and senior management teams like you to achieve their strategic goals. She also provides legal training to legal teams on updates of relevance to them from a corporate law and governance perspective.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys snorkelling, skiing, paddle boarding, running and competing in biathlons. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and developing junior talent.

Over her career, Lauren has presented various legal training sessions to clients in the financial services and energy sectors.

Client Experience

Lauren’s recent client experience includes:

  • advising the management of insurance brokers Aston Lark on the sale of the Aston Lark group of companies to Howden
  • assisting logistics provider Brambles Limited on its dual-track US$2.5 billion separation by demerger or trade sale of the IFCO reusable plastic containers business, ultimately sold to a consortium of Triton and ADIA
  • acting for a UK food and beverage provider on its disposal of portfolios of stores across England to franchise partners
  • helping organic baby formula and food provider Bellamy’s Australia Limited in relation to its A$1.5 billion acquisition by China Mengiu Dairy Company Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement
  • working for financial technology group Universe plc on its takeover by PDI Software by way of a scheme of arrangement
