Chris Rhodes supports the more senior members of the team and advises on a broad range of pensions matters in both the private and public sector.

In the private sector he has assisted with matters including, employer debts on exiting, obtaining security over company shares, GMP equalisation, death benefits, rules consolidation, novation of service provider contracts, closure to future accrual, scheme mergers, due diligence in company acquisitions.

Chris has experience of the Local Government Pension Scheme and has assisted with preparing admission agreements and an administering authorities’ investments in securities funds.

Chris is an associate member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.

Before retraining as a pensions lawyer Chris was a lawyer at Virgin Media and brings considerable commercial experience to his dealings with clients.
