Ruth Christy is a Senior Associate Professional Support Lawyer in our Employment, Labor and Pensions Group. She provides general support in all aspects of Employment law to the ELPG group, and specialist support to ELPG’s Employment Financial Services and Corporate Governance team. This includes a particular focus on conduct issues under the Senior Managers & Certification Regime and employment-related regulatory developments such as Diversity & Inclusion in Financial Services. She works alongside the firm’s Financial Services teams on employment-related briefings, updates and horizon scanning.

She has significant experience in advising on the GDPR, UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 as they apply to employment law, and drafting data protection precedents for employment relationships.

She has frequently written for the HR press and trained clients and lawyers on recent and forthcoming developments.
