Clément is a senior associate in our financial institutions group. He advises on regulated and non-regulated investment funds with a focus on undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS), as well as alternative investment funds and managers under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
His recent experience includes a secondment in an international Swiss bank on the acquisition of a bank established in Luxembourg and a secondment in an AIFM regarding AML/CFT aspects.
He has written the Luxembourg chapter on blockchain regulation for the guide Global Legal Insights on Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Regulation 2021.
Clément was admitted to the Luxembourg bar in October 2018 and holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the Nancy Faculty of Law (France) and a L.L.M. degree in International Commercial Law from Swansea University (Wales).
