Practice notes

Joel is an associate in our UK Company Commercial group and based in our Cardiff office. He works on a range of transactional and advisory matters across a number of sectors with a particular focus on M&A, private equity, joint ventures and re-organisations.

Joel graduated in law from Cardiff University and prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland was a legal professional at Allen & Overy before completing his training contract at a leading independent firm in Cardiff.

His experience includes advising an insurance MGA on their Brexit strategy; a leading private equity house on a number of key investments; working on the HSBC ring-fencing project and the sale of Ribena/Lucozade to Suntory Beverage and Food Ltd for £1.55bn.
