Gaëtan Cordier is a Partner in our Paris office, in charge of the IP/IT & Privacy department. His practice covers both litigation and transactional IP/IT & Privacy matters.

Gaëtan's experience includes:

  • IP law covering litigation and transactional patents, trademarks, copyright, know-how, unfair competition matters as well as sponsorship agreements and licence agreements
  • IT law covering outsourcing, software and hardware agreements, services agreements, cloud computing, IT marketing agreements, technology and communications regulation, e-commerce
  • data protection/privacy law and legal aspects of IT security
  • commercial law, including commercial contracting arrangements, technology transfer arrangements and consumer regulations
  • life sciences compliance and regulatory matters

Gaëtan advises companies in various industries and, in particular in the luxury, retail, Internet, medical devices, life sciences and technology sectors.  He heads Eversheds Sutherland Luxury Legal Group, a group dedicated to the legal needs and strategies of companies operating in the luxury sector.

He is admitted to the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) Arbitration and Mediation Centre's list of neutrals.

Gaëtan is distinguished for his work by the independent guide Legal 500 Europe, ranked in the top tier in Luxury Goods, he is also ranked in IP and IT, TMT and the Internet.
