Jon is a corporate partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings, joint ventures and reorganisations for major corporate clients, entrepreneurs and financial sponsors.

Jon has a particular focus on the financial services, fintech and technology sectors, with transactions including:

  • the £888m sale of Capita Asset Services;
  • the £700m+ separation of G4S’s multi-jurisdictional cash handling business;
  • the sale of multi-award winning payments fintech, Prepaid Financial Services, to EML;
  • the acquisition of global payments business, AFEX;
  • the £235m sale of ParkingEye;
  • numerous strategic transactions and investments for Experian.
  • Jon was recognised as the Corporate Lawyer of the Year 2020 (outside London) by the Legal 500.
