Jose Mariano Cruz is a partner in our Dispute Resolution Practice Group and IP.

He is a reputed specialist in IP Law, Life Sciences Law and Biotechnology where he advises either big enterprises or scientific institutions and individuals. He also advises on Commercial issues where a potential complex litigation issue is involved.

He has a Degree in Law by the Complutence University of Madrid. He specialised in IP Law, Pharma Law and Biotechnology Law and has several studies on such matters in institutions such as Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, CEFI, Patent Centre at Barcelona University and Madrid Bar Association.

He has been a Lawyer at the Madrid Bar Association since 1998.

Member of the Association of Experts in Fashion Law (AEDM) since 2021.

He is also a Lecturer at CEU San Pablo University for the International Advocate Master Degree.

He is a contributor in different communication media and a current speaker in specialised IP and Pharmaceutical forums. He is the author of several legal papers on publications of reference in such matters.

He is mentioned by Chambers & Partners as a leading individual in the areas of Health and Life Sciences and Intellectual Property.
