Priyesh has been qualified since 2015 and is an associate in our human resources practice group. He advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues for a range of clients, both national and international.

He has experience in advising on all aspects of the life cycle of employment relationships with employees; from interviewing, right to work checks, drafting template and bespoke service agreements and contracts, advice regarding disciplinaries, grievances, reasonable adjustments with regards to disabled employees, bespoke executive severances and settlement agreements.

In addition, Priyesh has experience dealing with business reorganisations, including site closures, TUPE transfers, delivering training to clients and HR teams, and review of data subject access requests and the redaction of personal data using our eDiscovery and document review platform ‘ES Locate’.

Most recently Priyesh has been advising clients with regards to the PENP taxation provisions affecting terminations and PILONs.

Priyesh also works closely with the Corporate team on due diligence and identifying risks effecting any purchase.

Since qualification, Priyesh’s contentious work includes working on and managing claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, victimisation, whistleblowing detriments, wrongful dismissal, and holiday pay – having worked on dozens of cases. His experience includes working on a widely reported tribunal claim, involving unfair dismissal and discrimination issues, for an international client.
