Practice notes

Mark is head of the Commercial Dispute Resolution practice and leads a team of around 25 partners and 100 lawyers. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Leadership Team.

Mark has over 20 years' experience of heavyweight commercial litigation, including corporate and warranty disputes, IT and outsourcing disputes, and public procurement challenges. He has particular experience of the energy, pharmaceutical and rail sectors. Mark has conducted litigation in all divisions of the High Court, as well as the House of Lords, the Court of Appeal, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Crown Court. Mark has led numerous mediations.

Mark is ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a leading practitioner. He is praised for the "perfect combination of being hard-nosed and pragmatic. He is very clear about the client's goals and he has a real eye for detail". He is recognised as a Client Service All-Star by BTI Consulting and is an Acritas Star lawyer.
