Practice notes

Steven is a Partner in our real estate practice group. He is dual qualified (Scotland/England), and one of only a few lawyers in Scotland genuinely active in both the English and Scottish markets. Steven specialises in non-contentious real estate work, acting for corporate clients on a wide range of property matters north and south of the border, including acquisitions and disposals, asset management, landlord and tenant work and the real estate elements of corporate and commercial deals.

Steven has considerable experience of advising clearing banks, international banks and alternative lenders, as well as borrowers, on all aspects of real estate finance transactions. He is also very active in the energy sector advising lenders, developers, investors, purchasers and sellers in connection with renewable energy projects including on-shore and offshore wind, solar and biomass.
