Eleanor is an Associate in our Employment Labor Practice Group, and works both on contentious and non-contentious matters.

Eleanor trained in-house and has an in-depth understanding of business needs and demands, which has transpired into providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice.

Since qualification, Eleanor has significant transactional and corporate experience, and has advised businesses on several due diligences, implementing senior executives’ service agreements and TUPE negotiations, including cross-border/international transactions. Eleanor’s employment tribunal experience includes advising and acting for respondents on claims for unfair dismissal, complex discrimination claims related to maternity, victimisation and harassment, and unlawful deductions of wages claims. In addition, Eleanor has supported businesses with approaches to settlement and strategic analysis. Her advisory experience is vast and includes: advice on annual leave entitlements, COVID-19 mitigation measures, drafting redundancy documentation, disciplinary/grievance procedures and employee relations issues. Eleanor also has experience in international matters and has assisted in cross-border advice. Eleanor has hosted employment law training sessions for clients and HR professionals.

Eleanor is also an advocate for pro-bono work and is a ‘Pro-Bono Champion’ for the firm and has actively been involved in providing legal advice to non-profit charities/organisations and helping the firm’s communities thrive. She is also a member of the firm’s diversity and inclusion networks.

Eleanor has acted on a number of transactions to provide employment advice and has drafted numerous senior executive service agreements.

Eleanor is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
