Shavkat is a Senior Associate in our Brussels Real Estate and Regulatory practice.
He focuses on real estate development, real estate transactions and real estate litigation.
Shavkat handles matters relating to urban planning, permits, expropriation, environmental law, housing standards, etc. He advises clients from the private and public sector on the legal aspects of project development, public procurement, and represents them before the Council of State (Raad van State), the Council for Permit Disputes (Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen), and civil courts.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2021, Shavkat worked as a lawyer on the public law team of an international law firm.

Shavkat graduated in law from the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL) in 2016 and completed an additional master’s degree in notarial law at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in 2017.
