Maya is an Associate in Eversheds Sutherland’s Real Estate team and undertakes commercial real estate work such as assisting with asset management work in respect of office, industrial and retail premises.

Maya is a member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Diversity & Inclusion network in which she supports individuals from underrepresented backgrounds looking to qualify as a solicitor.

Maya has assisted on a number of commercial real estate transactions, including:

  • assisting with asset management work (e.g. drafting leases, licences to occupy/underlet/alter) for education clients across the UK
  • assisting with asset management work for clients providing financial services and investment services
  • assisting with asset management work for clients in the retail industry
  • assisting in corporate transactions by carrying out due diligence of properties as part of sales/acquisitions
