Catherine is a highly experienced M&A corporate partner with a particular specialism in private equity. Over the past 25 years Catherine has advised numerous clients on a plethora of matters including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and private equity investments as well as providing general day to day corporate advice.

Recent transactions include acting for the management team on the US$220m acquisition of Shimtech Industries by Inflexion and Auctus Industries from Bridgepoint; acting for the shareholders of Steelite International upon the sale of the company to US private equity house PNC Riverarch Capital; acting for Baird Capital Partners upon their investment in eCube Solutions Limited and acting for Aston Lark on numerous acquisitions.

Catherine is also part of our Consumer sector and has acted on a number of deals for large consumer/food and beverage companies. Recent transactions include:

  • acting for Compass Group on various acquisitions and disposals
  • acting for Mitchells & Butlers on the sale of a portfolio of pubs to real estate investment company, Aprirose
  • acting for Mitchells & Butlers upon its investment into Ego Restaurants
  • acting for longstanding client, Connect Distribution Services Limited upon numerous transactions over the past 25 years
