Dr. Marie-Christin Englmann is a Principal Associate in the area of Commercial Dispute Resolution based in our Munich office.

She represents clients in national and international arbitration proceedings (both ad hoc and institutional, in particular pursuant to the ICC, DIS and LCIA rules) and in public courts. She specialises in conflict resolutions in cross-border commercial disputes in areas such as international trade, post M&A, infrastructure and general contract and liability law. Her experience includes out-of-court dispute resolutions, arbitration procedures and the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and judgments.

She is the author of numerous publications and a frequent speaker on international arbitration topics.

Marie-Christin is a member of the German Institution of Arbitration (Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V., DIS), the German Initiative of Young Arbitrators (Deutsche Initiative junger Schiedsrechtler, DIS40), the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF), the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG), the Young Singapore International Arbitration Center Group (YSIAC), the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and the International Bar Association (IBA).

Following her law studies at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich, she obtained an LL.M degree in the area of international commercial arbitration from the Queen Mary University of London. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland in Munich, she worked in the litigation/arbitration practice group of a leading commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main and gained professional experience in New York and Shanghai.
