Jennie is a Senior Associate in the Corporate & M&A Department at Eversheds Sutherland.

Jennie is experienced across multiple sectors with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure transactions, including clean energy (offshore and onshore wind, solar, energy storage and renewable transport solutions) and oil and gas. Throughout her professional career Jennie has advised both public and private national and international corporate clients, and has experience in advising on general corporate law (company agreements of all kinds); corporate restructuring, transformations, mergers and liquidations; business acquisition and sale operations; share sales and preparation of due diligence reports; private equity investments; and public M&A.

Jennie's experience acting on major transactions includes:
  • advising BlueFloat Energy on the formation of a partnership with Falck Renewables and Ørsted to participate in the ScotWind leasing round
  • advising InfraRed Capital Partners Limited, investment manager to The Renewables Infrastructure Group (“TRIG”), on TRIG’s acquisition of a 17.5% equity interest in the Beatrice offshore wind farm from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners
  • advising Stadtwerke München on its participation in developing the Awel y Môr offshore wind farm, located approximately 10.5km off the Welsh coast in the Irish Sea
  • advising CNG Fuels on an £80m investment by Foresight in a joint venture to build a nationwide network of refuelling stations that will allow heavy goods vehicles to run on carbon neutral fuel (this was IJGlobal’s ESG Transport Deal of the Year 2021)
  • advising Advance Energy plc on its acquisition of a 50% interest in Carnarvon Petroleum Timor, Unipessoal Lda and reverse takeover raising US$20m
In her spare time, Jennie enjoys travel, wildlife spotting, cycling, hiking, running and singing.
