Practice notes
Demi is an associate in our Employment, Labor and Pensions Practice Group. Demi qualified in June 2020.
Demi advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and has experience in advising a broad range of clients providing practical support and guidance throughout.
Demi provides day to day advice to clients in respect of disciplinary, grievance and capability matters, redundancies, changing terms and conditions and holiday pay.
Demi also manages employment tribunal cases for Respondent clients from a variety of sectors. She has particular experience in cases of unfair dismissal, unlawful deduction of wages, constructive dismissal, discrimination and whilstblowing.
Additionally, Demi has experience in drafting and negotiating settlement and COT3 agreements and preparing and reviewing employment documentation including service agreements, employment contracts and policies.
In her spare time, Demi enjoys watching gymnastics and travelling. She is passionate about diversity & inclusion.
Demi is a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association.
Qualifications and Education
- 2014 – 2020 Nottingham Trent University
- Law with Business (LLB, Full Time) = First-Class Honours Degree
- Legal Practice Course = Distinction
- Master’s Degree in Law = Distinction
